Output Transformer Decision

I created a small chart comparing the Hammond 125-series Output Transformers (OT) with the Hammond 1627-1642  (I only show the 1628 model) series transformers, and have decided to go with either a 125-DSE or 125-ESE based on the price per watt. This will give me either a 10- or 15-watt amp, both major increases over a 5 watt amp. The reason for the price jump after the 125-series is because the 125-series OT frequency range is 100Hz - 15KHz, whereas the 1627-1642-series frequency range is 20Hz-20KHz, which is a typical humans hearing range.

I also decided on a speaker upgrade, again price limited. If price was no consideration, I'd be getting the $150 Celestion Vintage 30, but instead I am getting the Celestion Rocket 50. This speaker is exactly what I need -- a 12" 8 ohm speaker -- at a $30 price I don't mind paying. So now I am just hunting on a good deal for either of the two OT I like and I'll be starting on some actual electronics work.
